About the Showcase
Kinship is an exploration of the relationships that hold us – our ties to each other, to the land, to the waters, and to the unseen currents that move through all living things. Kinship invites us to notice the ways we are shaped by the places we come from, the communities that support us, and the responsibilities we carry in return. Kinship calls us to remember that we are part of an ongoing exchange in every ecosystem in both the natural and human world.
This event is a space for artists, and for all of us, to reflect on how connection teaches us, grounds us, and invites us into deeper presence. It is a chance to honour the reciprocity between our bodies, our stories, and the world around us – reminding us that every step, every choice, and every moment of care ripples outward. Through Kinship, we gather to celebrate relationship as a living practice, rooted in belonging, stewardship, and art.
We’re exploring themes of connection, environmental stewardship, reciprocity, Mother Earth, relationships, presence, embodiment.
